"It was just us nerds doing something we always wanted to do."

Discussing the edition in a Reddit AMA, Eickmeyer said that the Zombie Bait edition "was just a fun idea. This is something that comes up if fans work on what they love to do," he said. "It was blown out of proportion in the end and we learned our lesson, but it was not meant to be controversial. It was just us nerds doing something we always wanted to do.

"Dead Island is not a super-serious world," he continued, "it is about fun. So yeah, we would not do it again probably".

Dead Island Riptide's Zombie Bait Edition hit the headlines in January for its inclusion of a...

Dead Island: Riptide Review | All For Gamenews

Added: 18.07.2013 22:17 | 24 views | 0 comments

All For Gamenews - The cinematography of Dead Island Riptide was very convincing at the start. It opened with the setting aboard a military marine craft off Banoi. The game starts to titillate the players and swaythem to believe that theyre in for a game of grand plot and intensity. The plot starts out very strong with the outbreak that mercilessly plagued the earlier version of Dead Island. I was edgy and hopeful on my seat that this later version would measure up to my rising adrenalin. All hopes, however, begun to fizz out like a sputtering party-popper when it has blown away its initial pop.

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger Review | DarkStation

Added: 06.06.2013 21:18 | 31 views | 0 comments

DarkStation: "Call of Juarez Gunslinger is Techland at their best and the most fun I have had with a western experience since Red Dead Redemption. Its kind of a shame to know that their A team was working on this while Dead Island Riptide was thrown together but Im grateful that Gunslinger exists because its a solid and fun first person shooter with some great hooks in it. Techland has shown that with a small downloadable title they can shine with the best and I can only hope that this game will serve as a template for the next proper Call of Juarez game because what theyve done here is working and I would love to see it blown up to a full retail game. For fifteen dollars you cant go wrong with Gunslinger."
